Mature Neighbourhood Overlay Review

The City of Edmonton offers citizens more opportunities to provide feedback on mature neighbourhoods. The Mature Neighbourhood Overlay (MNO) Review survey is now online. Residents can share their views on how to make the Mature Neighbourhood Overlay a more effective tool for shaping development in mature neighbourhoodThe Mature Neighbourhood Overlay is a set of 24 development regulations that help ensure new housing in mature neighbourhoods remains sensitive to the surrounding community. The goal of the review is to make it easier for builders and landowners to build housing in the mature areas of our city, while ensuring new housing integrates in a way that supports the unique features of these communities.The survey deadline is June 27, 2016. The survey is the last element of public engagement before moving to the third stage of the City’s Mature Neighbourhood Overlay Review Process, Developing Solutions and Building Commitment.
